Mr. Vareille is the former Chief Executive Officer of Constellium, a global supplier of value-added aluminum products. Mr. Vareille began his career in 1982 with Vallourec, holding various positions in manufacturing, controlling, sales and strategy. Additionally served in roles of increasing responsibility with GFI Aerospace, Faurecia and Pechiney, before being named Chief Executive of Wagon Automotive plc in 2004. From 2008 to 2011, he served as Chairman and CEO of FCI, a leading global supplier of electronic connectors, before assuming his position as CEO of Constellium from 2012 to 2016. Mr. Vareille is a graduate of Ecole Centrale, France’s leading engineering school. He also holds various degrees in Political Science from Sciences Po and in Economics and Finance from Sorbonne University and the Institute of Financial Management (Institut de Contrôle de Gestion). In addition to Tenneco, he is the former chairman of the board of BIC Group (2018 to 2021) and currently serves on the board of directors of Vallourec and Verallia (France), the London Stock Exchange, and Outokumpu Oyj (Finland). Mr. Vareille is also co-chairman and founder of The Vareille Foundation, an international foundation registered in Switzerland.
