Davide Girelli joined Tenneco in March 2023 as executive vice president and president of the Powertrain business group. He is a member of the company’s executive leadership team and has 26 years of experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. Girelli joined Tenneco after spending 12 years with BorgWarner, most recently as president and general manager of Morse Systems. Prior to this role, Girelli held positions of increasing responsibility with BorgWarner, including president and general manager of Fuel Injection Systems; VP and GM of Turbo Systems Europe and South America; and VP and GM of Europe and Asia for Morse Systems. Before joining BorgWarner, he worked in R&D and operations for several global companies including ITT, Trelleborg and FiatAvio. Girelli holds a degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Rome La Sapienza as well as an MBA from the University of Turin.
