Nathan Bowen Executive Vice President, President, Clean Air

Nathan Bowen, CPA, is executive vice president and president, Clean Air. As the leader of Tenneco’s Clean Air business group globally, he is responsible for continuing Tenneco’s regulatory driven growth with commercial truck and off-highway, and light vehicle customers across all regions. Prior to his current role, Bowen served as Vice President of Global Finance for Clean Air, responsible for leading financial activities across all regions, advancing overall financial goals and objectives, and partnering with various business teams to drive performance while ensuring complete, accurate, and timely financial reporting. Bowen, who joined Tenneco in 2020, has nearly 30 years’ experience, 20 of them with Johnson Controls and its joint venture spinoff interiors business Yanfeng, serving as Vice President and General Manager, Americas. Prior to that, Bowen held roles of increasing responsibility in various Johnson Controls businesses including Vice President Finance, Global Electronics and Global Seating, and Vice President and CFO Global Interiors. Bowen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, from Central Michigan University; and Masters in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University (Michigan).
